Fender has unveiled a new signature instrument for 2023 with the Limited Edition Mikey Way Jazz Bass. The My Chemical Romance bassist’s new axe comes in a Silver Sparkle finish with a black painted headstock to match his style.

Spector has announced it is updating its USA NS series of basses for 2023. The instruments are crafted in the new Spector USA Custom Shop facility in Woodstock, New York.

Squier has announced five new models to their Paranormal Series, which they say boast “otherworldly looks and earth-shattering tones.” The new lineup includes one bass called the Rascal Bass HH.

Fender has unveiled a new limited run of Made in Japan instruments. The International Color Series are described as “Vintage Fender vibes meets Made in Japan craftsmanship.” The series includes a Precision Bass and a Jazz Bass.

The NAMM Show was held in the spring this year, and Ernie Ball Music Man was ready for it with new colors for the StingRay Special. The company revealed four new finishes: Sea Breeze, Laguna Green, Pueblo Pink, and Butter Cream.

Harley Benton is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a special edition of guitars and basses in a Firemist Gold finish. The two basses include the JB-25TH and the Enhanced 25TH.

Ernie Ball Music Man unveiled the latest in their limited edition Ball Family Reserve instruments. The Spring 2023 drop includes the Ball Family Reserve StingRay Retro ’76 bass.

Fender’s entry-level Squier Bullet series has been replaced by a new line called the Sonic Series. The new instruments carry similar attributes to their predecessors with new colors and new models.
