JHS Pedals has revamped one of their preamp pedals with the Colour Box V2. The unit is designed to replicate the “direct-in” sound of recording into a Neve studio console. Building on the original pedal, version two has some upgrades.

Sinasoid has released a new signature cable with bassist Norm Stockton. The 12-foot boutique instrument cable’s profits will be used to help Stockton finish his latest project, Sushi & Grooves.

This week we’re taking a look at the insanely intricate bass luthier Ivan Mulia calls the “TTT Bass” Misery 3030. The bass features finely detailed, acid-etched aluminum plates for the body top and back, as well as the fretless fingerboard.

This week we’re checking out a stunning Armada bass by Jillard Guitars. The bass has a multi-scale neck running from 36.75 inches to 34 inches with slanted frets to adjust for each string.

Crazy Tube Circuits has expanded their lineup of pedals with the Cyclone Phaser. The all-analog pedal is voiced after classic phasers with four voicings from the ’70s and ’90s.

So far, Fodera’s Masterbuilt series has used their existing bass shapes as a canvas for ornamental design. The latest in the line changes that. The Masterbuilt Crescent is inspired by the company’s AJ Presentation Hybrid but with some drastic changes.
