Reverb announced that Muse will be using the platform to offload nearly 100 pieces of gear from their tours and studio. The full gear list will be revealed on August 2nd, but we have a preview of a few pieces from Chris Wolstenholme’s arsenal.

Sire has expanded its bass offerings with the Marcus Miller V5 24. Available in four and five-string models, the bass is a 24-fret vintage style bass with passive electronics.

Bayou Basses posted their latest build recently. Inspired by the lyrics of John Lennon, The Dreamer is described as a departure from the company’s previous builds.

Fender has announced their first foray into the world of ukulele basses. The miniature Fullerton Precision Bass ukulele has a P-Bass body shape with a 20.25-inch scale.

Aguilar Amplification has put the sound of their AG series bass amps into a pedal with the new AG Preamp pedal. The company says it “inherits the renowned AG preamp’s tight, fast response and extensive tonal flexibility.”

Fuzzrocious pedals is diving deeper into the world of modulation circuits by introducing the Tyrannochorus. Heralded for their distortion and fuzz boxes, the company says a normal chorus would be boring, so they made it more “Fuzzrocious.”

Fender is rolling out some new gear for summer 2023, including the Limited Edition Suona Collection. The lineup includes the Suona Jazz Bass, a semi-hollow four-string.

Warwick has expanded their line of miniature bass amps with the Gnome i Pro 600, marking the most powerful model in the Gnome series. The 600-watt head weighs in at just 6.6 pounds.

This week we’re checking out another jaw-dropping instrument built by Rob van den Broek of Brooks. The Brooks QB is a twelve-string bass built as a tribute to the Quad Bass built by Jol Dantzig of Hamer for Cheap Trick’s Tom Petersson.
