Earthquaker Devices has updated its Afterneath reverb pedal for 2020 with a third version. The pedal’s latest update adds an expression control for the “Drag” features and operates nine different modes with a new Mode knob.

TC Electronic’s TonePrint technology allows users flexibility in their pedals by beaming presets and tweaking parameters. So far it’s been available for most of their pedal types, but now they’ve created the Plethora X5 pedal board that centers around the technology.

Arkham Sound has expanded its line of preamps with the Oracle, a tube-driven preamp centered around their full EQ. That includes a James Tonestack with gain, treble, and bass controls as well as a range knob that sweep’s the tonestacks midpoint.

After releasing the Stella last year, BecosFX has expanded their lineup of compressor pedals with the CompIQ Twain. The unit is a dual-band/stacked compressor and limiter that the company says forges a new path in the realm of compressors.

Source Audio has expanded its highly tweakable line of effects pedals with the EQ2 Programmable Equalizer. Debuted at the Winter NAMM Show, the pedal is the second generation of their popular equalizer pedal.

Redbeard Effects has introduced a new octave fuzz pedal called the Honey Badger. Designed for bass, guitar, or “anything you plug into it,” the pedal is described as “oozing gobs of glitchy, monophonic goodness.”

The vintage Seamoon Funk Machine has been reborn through a new company called Seamoon FX founded by session ace Neil Jason. The new pedal was the passion project for Jason, who used the original on many records.

Death By Audio revealed their latest creation at Winter NAMM with the ROOMS Stereo Reverberator. The pedal offers six reverb algorithms (Room, Digital, Peak, Wave, Gate, and Gong) to offer a wide variety of soundscapes.

Neural DSP has so far released several plugins for modeling software. The company, founded by Douglas Castro of Darkglass, has now unleashed its first piece of hardware. The Quad Cortex is a unit they call the “most powerful floor modeler on the planet.”

Godlyke, Inc. was at the 2020 Winter NAMM Show to display two new pedals from Totally Wycked Audio (TWA): the Microchasm Octave Box and the Wahxidizer envelope-controlled fuzz. Each pedal is suitable for both bass and guitar.

Aguilar Amplification is celebrating their 25th anniversary with a limited edition run of their pedal lineup. The Silver Anniversary pedals come finished in the company’s silver and black color scheme with a special decal and commemorative package.
