Tech 21 Introduces VT Bass DI Pedal and Rackmount Preamps

Tech 21 VT Bass DI PedalTech 21 has expanded their Character VT Series with the VT Bass DI, available in pedal and rackmount versions. Both versions are based on the original VT Bass and VT Bass Deluxe, which are designed to give familiar sounds from the early ’60s up through modern day crunch via the “Character” knob.

The VT Bass DI pedal incorporates a Blend control for controlling the amount of direct signal with the SansAmp circuitry. Its “Bite” switch is a treble boost that tightens up the bass sound. Connectivity includes three outputs – 1/4-inch, XLR, and Parallel – for extra routing options.

Other features include an Effects Loop with a Mix 50/50 switch for parallel or series operation, an XLR output with selectable levels, and a buffered direct XLR output that provides a dry signal.

The Tech 21 VT Bass DI Pedal and Rackmount Preamps will be available with street prices around $209 and $329, respectively. For more info, check out the Tech 21 website.
