Trickfish Amplification has expanded its Bullhead series of bass amps with the Bullhead Mini 500. Rated at 500 watts, the unit matches the Mike Pope-designed preamp with a Class D power amp.

Jeff Genzler of Genzler Amplification has expanded their Nu Classic series of bass cabinets with the NC-115T. The new lightweight enclosure continues its boutique take on a vintage design.

Taurus Amps has unveiled a new amp aimed at upright bassists. Although The Qube-350 Acoustic was made with upright in mind, it works great for bass guitars, making it a good option for doublers.

Positive Grid has expanded its Spark series of amplifiers with the Spark MINI, a battery-powered amp with Bluetooth capabilities. They call the amp the “biggest smallest rig ever for electric guitar, acoustic or bass.”

Schroeder Cabinets has unveiled a new signature cabinet with bassist Dann Glenn called the DG1000. Available in either 1,000-watt or 1,200-watt versions, the cab is described by Glenn as “light as a feather with a huge sonic footprint.”

Darkglass is known for its pedals and amps that offer gritty sounds, but now they have a new device that cleans up the process of amplification. The Exponent 500 is a new amp that interacts with the Darkglass Suite to get plenty of options.

Phil Jones is known for utilizing small speakers to get a big sound. Now he’s created his smallest bass amp ever with the new PJB Nanobass X4, which his company calls “a highly efficient mini engineering marvel that redefines transportability and ‘Tone To Go.’”

Vanderkley Amplification has added a new model to their lineup of bass cabinets with the 110MNT. The company calls it the “perfect cabinet for home use and small gigs.”

Markbass is continuing its 20th anniversary celebrations by updating its CMD combo series. Each model is fitted with the company’s Little Mark IV combo amplifier, which has several new features.

Ashdown Engineering has teamed up with Guy Pratt to create a new signature amp called the Interstellar-600. The bass icon’s new rig is a take on his ABM-900 with revamped EQ and valve drive sections.
