Tech 21’s Bass Fly Rig is being updated for 2021 with version 2. The multi-effects floor unit has a built-in 3-band EQ, chorus, octaver, fuzz, compression, and – of course – the company’s SansAmp preamp sounds.

Jens Ritter’s basses always blow me away, and this R8 Acoustic model is no different. The four-string bass is crafted from solid red cedar with a maple neck and ebony fingerboard, which is adorned with oval ring inlays.

We’ve got another rare bird for you this week with the Andre Instruments Maya 3. The acoustic/electric bass guitar has a unique design with stunning craftsmanship.

Sheptone has unveiled the Miles Bass Pickup, a single-coil design that “goes the distance” for vintage tone. It was created to accurately reproduce the tone of the original Fender 1951 Precision Bass, they shared.

Nux has unveiled the Mighty Bass 50BT, a bass amp they say is perfect for practice, rehearsing, and recording. The 50-watt combo features a 6.5-inch speaker and a Class-D power section.

Aguilar Amplification has added a new model to their ultra-compact line of pedals with the DB 599 Bass Compressor. Housed in a yellow chassis, the mini unit has a simple control layout with a knob for gain and a knob for compression.

Sinobas Amplification produces a healthy line of bass cabinets and cables, but now they’re also getting into the world of pedals. Their first stompbox offering is the Boost BT-1, a “mean and clean” boost designed for the bass guitar.
