Gear Watch: Kasha 4 Channel Overdrive
Kasha has developed a 4 Channel Overdrive pedal built to the standards of their boutique amplifiers. Kasha applied their extensive amplifier knowledge to this pedal, the first thing you will notice is that there is no tone control! This is on purpose, Kasha explains that “A big problem that most pedals have is the addition of a tone control or passive filter. It is used to damp the unwanted high frequencies. In most pedals that have them, they do nothing but destroy your amp tone… Each voicing has just the right amount of gain, highs, mids and lows to accent your amp without unwanted feedback.”
The Kasha 4 Channel Overdrive has four channel settings, a gain knob and a turbo switch. The settings include: Smooth, Classic, Hot and Melt each with different amounts of boost (3, 11, 15 and 18 dB respectively).
