The Who is releasing a new album on December 6th, but they’re pushing a lot of vintage content in the meantime. Here’s a 1968 clip of “A Quick One (While He’s Away),” which features a fantastic bass line by John Entwistle.

The Black Veil Brides have announced that bassist Ashley Purdy has left the band. The news was posted by the group on their social media pages.

Crazy Tube Circuits has expanded their lineup of pedals with the Cyclone Phaser. The all-analog pedal is voiced after classic phasers with four voicings from the ’70s and ’90s.

Here’s a fantastic clip of Richard Bona performing “Uprising of Kindness” at the RTL Jazz Festival. Backed by a string quartet and band, Bona adds his amazing vocal and bass skills to this beautiful composition.

So far, Fodera’s Masterbuilt series has used their existing bass shapes as a canvas for ornamental design. The latest in the line changes that. The Masterbuilt Crescent is inspired by the company’s AJ Presentation Hybrid but with some drastic changes.

The Independent Arts and Music Asheville had The Marcus King Band in their studios for the “Echo Session” series. The band, including bassist Stephen Campbell, put on quite a show.

Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins has released a new album called “Get The Money.” The star-studded album is anchored primarily by a band called The Coattail Riders, which includes Chris Chaney. Duff McKagan and Mark King also contributed.

Tool’s current North American tour may be sold out, but if you don’t have tickets there is still hope. They’ve just announced a new leg of dates for early 2020 to continue supporting their recent and long-awaited album, “Fear Inoculum.”

Two days ago, Kevin shared the news that brothers Chris and Rich Robinson of the Black Crowes are reuniting for a tour with a new lineup, including bassist Tim Lefebvre. Here they are performing “She Talks to Angels” on the Howard Stern Show.

Bassist Sam Wilkes has been blowing everyone away with his performances alongside Knower, Chaka Khan, and Scary Pockets. Now he’s released a live album of his own called “Live on the Green.”
