After forty years in the music business, Christian “Big New York” de Mesones has released his debut album, “They Call Me Big New York”. The ten-song collection draws on Latin, Funk, Soul, and R&B styles in original smooth jazz compositions.

Kovaluu has just released its first smartphone app called Beats and Loops, which combines a drum machine with a looper. Most interesting is its “virtual pedal” feature, which allows you to trigger the drum machine and loops with your foot.

Technical death metal band Obscura will have a nearly brand new lineup after Sebastian Lanser, Rafael Trujillo, and Linus Klausenitzer left the group. Klausenitzer also revealed that he, Lanser, and Trujillo have formed a new group.
