Slovakian bassist Juraj Griglak absolutely kills it in this clip for what appears to be a random passer-by in a Tokyo guitar shop. Check out Griglak’s serious case of bass face at 0:59.

Sam Dingle sent us some videos of bassist Matt Kniffen. We loved this one of Matt, performing an original solo bass piece, “Prima O Poi”. Sam said, “I really think that this kid in my town named Matt Kniffen needs to be [seen more]. His ‘band’, Soundscape. is just him (on 6 string bass guitar) and he programs the drums.”...

Once again, Fabio Meridiani caught our ears with this performance of “The Sync”, a cool and funky solo bass piece from Fabio’s album Subline 2.

Jim describes his technique: “It’s kinda like an open hammer pluck, but instead of plucking, you do an...

Marcin Suchodolski shares this video with us, featuring bassist Krzysztof ?ciera?ski, who knocked us out with his cool bass loop performance (and late 60’s Fender Jazz). Thanks Marcin! Krzysztof submitted this video as part of the BOSS loop contest, and came in 2nd place for central Europe. Have a video to share? Send it to [email protected].

Bassist Robert Szewczuga shares this video with us, featuring a bass duet he used as a promo for the jazz festival “Lotos Jazz Festival Bielska Zadymka Jazzowa”. Robert plays his MusicMan Stingray 5 for both parts. We only wish it ran a little longer.
