It has been a while since we featured Zander Zon and his nifty piccolo bass compositions. Here’s a new video featuring one of this tunes from Zander’s album Sonorous, entitled “Looking Glass”. (read our review of the album).

Bassist Robert Szewczuga shares this video with us, featuring a bass duet he used as a promo for the jazz festival “Lotos Jazz Festival Bielska Zadymka Jazzowa”. Robert plays his MusicMan Stingray 5 for both parts. We only wish it ran a little longer.

Today is a day to remember those who have served our country in the U.S. In honor of our fallen service men and women, here’s a great clip of Stu Hamm playing a solo bass rendition of the National Anthem. Happy Memorial Day, and thanks to all who have served.
