MxPx frontman Mike Herrera has a new signature StingRay bass from Ernie Ball Music Man. The bassist has used a StingRay for over 20 years, and now the company says “Herrera’s secret weapon is available to the public.”

This week we’re checking out a real beauty by Ulrich BassDesign. This weathered blue five-string is built with a thermo-modified alder body and a six-piece maple and mahogany neck. While its unique body shape and color stand out, there are plenty of other details to catch.

Phil Jones Bass has expanded its line of cabinets with the C2. The compact “shoebox-size” cab is rated at 200 watts and is fitted with two of the company’s smallest speakers.

Source Audio is now shipping the EQ2, a programmable equalizer pedal that was first debuted at the Winter NAMM Show. The unit builds on its first EQ pedal and combines a graphic and parametric equalizer with 10 adjustable frequency bands.
