Elrick Bass Guitars has announced that they’ve added Sassafras to their line of available body woods. They describe it as an excellent alternative to swamp ash due to its open grain, soft texture, and light brown color.

This week we’re taking a look at the Spectra model by Köllner Bass Instruments. Handmade by luthier Stefan Köllner, this particular Spectra is crafted with a roasted alder body topped with Black Limba and a wenge fingerboard.

Tsunami Cables has expanded its product lineup by getting into the world of studio preamps. The V-15 is their brand new, all-tube Class A preamp. Designed by Bruce Egnater, the pre is inspired by the iconic B15 bass amp.
