Rock mainstays Cheap Trick has released their 20th studio album, entitled “In Another World”. The album has been a long time coming, as the group released the first single, “The Summer Looks Good On You” way back in May 2018.

Carl Mayotte had a big year in 2020, despite the hardships. He was named Radio-Canada Jazz Revelation 2020-2021 and won the Prix de la Relève LOJIQ. Now he’s keeping the momentum up with a new album, “Pop de Ville, Vol. 1”.

Since his passing, we’ve been getting little bits of unreleased music from Prince’s vault. Now a full never-before-heard album will be seeing the light of day, with drummer Chris Coleman and bassist Tal Wilkenfeld.

Jazz bassist and vocalist Kristin Korb has released a new album that started with one little question: “What if… I made a pop album?” The resulting collection of songs, aptly named “What If?”, is a showcase of her talents over popular hits.

Tune-Yards has released “sketchy.”, which marks their fifth studio album and their first in three years. The 11-song collection was made after recovering from a burnout following a heavy touring schedule.

Death From Above 1979 has dropped their fourth studio album, entitled “Is 4 Lovers”. The duo of bassist Jesse F. Keeler and drummer Sebastien Grainger widened their palette for the record, which they say is more “fun” than 2017’s “Outrage! Is Now”.

In February 2020, The Aristocrats were 100 shows deep into a tour. The trio was playing some of their best shows ever before the pandemic brought the world to a halt. That pre-pandemic period will be featured on their next live album, “FREEZE!”

2021 is shaping up to be a fruitful year for Mononeon. After releasing “Banana Peel on Capitol Hill” in January, the bassist has dropped another killer album, “Supermane”.

Pino Palladino’s highly-anticipated album with producer and multi-instrumentalist Blake Mills is now available. “Notes With Attachments” marks the bass legend’s debut as a co-leader, though the record was originally conceived as a solo effort.
