Wolfgang Van Halen has unleashed the second album from his solo project, Mammoth WVH. The aptly titled “Mammoth II” sees the multi-instrumentalist expanding on the sound he created for his debut.

The late, great Lemmy Kilmister was a rock and roll icon through and through, but he also had a deep love for rockabilly. Now, BMG is reissuing several pieces of Headcat’s recorded output.

Bassist Hannah Marks has announced her debut album, “Outsider, Outlier,” which will be released on October 20th. The album combines her early alt-rock influences with her jazz training for a blend of sounds and genres.

Greta Van Fleet has released “Starcatcher,” marking the modern classic rock band’s third studio album. The album was recorded at Nashville’s RCA Studios, where GVF took its cues from the old-school methods.

Stu Hamm has returned with a new solo album, Hold Fast, which is his most prog-leaning effort to date. The bass icon says that the music came in its own time.

Funk queen Ida Nielsen has just dropped a new album of tasty grooves called “More Sauce, Please!,” marking her sixth effort as a leader.

More tracks from Frank Zappa’s archive have come to see the light of day in a new album called “Funky Nothingness.” The album features 25 rare and previously unreleased tracks.

Pearl Jam bassist Jeff Ament teamed up with former Fitz & The Tantrums drummer John Wicks several years ago to form a project called Deaf Charlie. Their debut track, “Something Real,” came out in 2020, but now the duo has a full LP to share.

“The Omnichord Real Book” marks Meshell Ndegeocello’s first album for the legendary Blue Note Records, and as such the bassist/vocalist digs into her jazz side.
